What is Front Screen Projection?
Front screen projection is a method of displaying images or video onto a screen or other surface by projecting the image or video onto the front of the screen, rather than the back. This type of projection is typically used in large-scale presentations, such as in movie theaters or conference halls, and allows for the image or video to be projected directly onto the screen, rather than being reflected off of a rear projection surface.

Front Scren projection in 20001 a Space Odyssey
In the 1968 film “2001: A Space Odyssey,” front screen projection is used to create the illusion of the actors performing in front of a live background. This technique involves filming the actors on a sound stage against a blue or green screen and then projecting footage of the background onto a large screen in front of the actors. This allows the filmmakers to create a realistic-looking environment without the need for expensive and time-consuming location shoots.
